The City of Arts and Sciences houses a lake, a Hemispheric cinema offering special effects nature films, a Science Museum, open air bars and restaurants, an Aquarium and an Opera house. From there the city centre can be easily visited. We offer a drop-off service, picking you up when you’re ready (£50 for 1-4 guests) or we can wait for you and take you into the gothic centre for a city tour with a local expert concierge (£140 for 1-4 guests).

The Bioparc Zoo

The Bioparc is much more than a zoo. It was created with the animals’ wellbeing in mind and is set in beautiful surroundings. We can offer you a drop-off service, visiting first the City of Arts and Sciences followed by a drive along the river bank and around the city centre, dropping you straight into the zoo without need to park or queue. Admission to Bioparc included. (£240 for 1-4 guests)

Aquarium

. The Aquarium is a fabulous park with an outstanding arctic area, underwater tunnel and dolphin show. We drop you at the gate, no need to queue. Combine this with a visit to the City of Arts and Sciences. We wait and then take you to El Saler beach, with its 20 km of golden sand dunes and seafood restaurants or take a picnic. Includes admission to the aquarium. (£240 for 1-4 guests) 

Museum of Silk or Ceramics Museum

The Museum of Silk and the Ceramics Museum are a fascinating insight into the history of Valencia. Combine either of these with a visit to the Central Market and city tour.  Museum admission included. (£140 for 1-4 guests).

Orange trees and paella workshop

.Visit the beautiful plains of Valencia (40 mins by car) and see mile upon mile of orange trees. Visit a picturesque valley, meet a local farmer and enjoy seeing the ancient irrigation channels  and the river Jucar which feed this fertile land, followed by a paella workshop amongst the orange trees in the Rincón del Toro. Central Market and paella workshop

Tiger Nut Tour

See how the tiger nuts are grown and take part in a hands-on workshop to learn how the local tiger nut milk (horchata) is made. Enjoy a Farton (sweet pastry) and learn more about this fertile land in the company of a local expert farmer (£200 for 1-4 guests).

Boat ride on the lake

.We take you to the City of Arts and Sciences and then to Saler beach and then to try a typical tapas in a village in the middle of the lake. Enjoy a boat ride in a traditional eel fisherman’s boat, across the Albufera, the largest wetlands in Europe. See the fish jump and look for the herons standing majestically amongst the reeds. Garbí and Serra

Where does the rice come from?

Drive to the Albufera lake to see the rice fields and beach, then a visit to the rice museum. Take your donkey for a stroll amongst the orange trees!

.40 mins from the alquería. Enjoy visiting the main orange growing area of Valencia in the company of a local farmer who will show you the ancient irrigation channels and the Jucar river which feed this fertile land and then cook you a paella in the open air while you stroll through the orange trees with a donkey for company. The Miguelete

Enjoy climbing up to the viewpoint of this historic tower and a stroll around the gothic area of Valencia to see the Cathedral, Virgin Square and famous Lonja. Horta de Soriano and farm visit

Visit the orange growing part of Valencia which is 40 minutes from the alqueria. Enjoy a morning snack ad a sangría in Rincón de Toro , an orange growing farm and then visit a typical farm belonging to the ‘Datileros’ (local date farmers) to see how they  prepare dates, palm decorations and olives. Learn how to make a paella on an open fire, oven rice and puchero (traditional stew). Bring your swim suit! (£380 for 1-4 guests)

The Saler beach

To the south of the city there are kilometres of sandy beaches and sand dunes which are beautiful. Take a picnic or you can eat in the seafood restaurant on the beach £60 for 1-4 guests).

The Palmar

The Palmar is an island in the middle of a lake, called the Albufera, which are the largest wetlands in Europe. It is reached over narrow bridges and there is a good choice of restaurants serving typical food. You  take a boatride across the lake and look for the herons standing majestically amongst the reeds. We drive you one hour up the coast to the beautiful seaside resort of Benicassim where our expert local concierges, Judith and Pepe, will lead you on a walk through the country. Ca Xoret and Les Tendetes

Ca Xoret can be visited by bicycle and offers a typical insight into Valencian cooking alongside a selection of Valencian wines. The local farmers’ restaurant, 1 km away, Les Tendetes is a fascinating and down to earth eatery offering large bocadillo breakfasts and delicious tapas and menus. If you prefer, our concierge can accompany you in a car, taking you first for a typical morning breakfast then lunch, with a stroll around the huerta and a visit to the local museum in between. The Lonja

The Lonja is one of the emblematic sights of the Gothic area of Valencia alongside the Miguelete, Mercado Central and la Catedral and Plaza de la Virgen. Enjoy a city tour with our local expert concierge. (£80  for 1-4 guests)

Other areas to enjoy in the city are the river bank for walking or cycling, the Viveros and Bioparc parks, the IXth century Ruzafa area, the port area and the modern City of Arts and Sciences, two important art galleries. There is plenty to see and do.
